The aluminium layers around the heating cable act as a heat dispersion medium and the earthling grid makes the product suitable for use in dry and wet areas like bathrooms under the laminate, and wood/parquet boards.

HILOwood aluminium heating mat is ultra-thin with only 2, 8 mm height and does not increase floor level. So thin that you will notice just a comfortable warmth. HILOwood mat with twin conductor innovative fluoropolymer insulation ensures high reliability, making it durable and temperature resistant. In addition, it is energy-efficient and delivers comfort with even floor heat distribution.

HILOwood heating mat dry installation does not require a concrete or adhesive layer. On the clean floor surface, you will need to apply a layer of hardwood or thin Steico underfloor ekopor. When the hardwood or Steico ekopor is applied, then install the HILOwood aluminium heating mat. Then your floor heating is read for laminate or wood boards flooring.

The resistance of the HILOwood heating mat is measured between the power cable conductors and the screen.
